Have you heard about the series Vindication streaming exclusively on PureFlix? It is currently in its second season, and I had the opportunity to review season one here.

I’m back with season 2, episode 2 entitled”Turmoil.”

I am so pleased this show was renewed! This is the answer to all the crime/police procedure shows that the networks show that always include gratuitous sex, violence, language, and more. Those shows are not the kind I feel comfortable watching with my mom (or my daughter) at times unless we have a remote handy to fast-forward through the objectionable scenes. This never happens with this show.

The quality acting, writing, and storylines continue with this season, and it is no wonder why this show was renewed. It is such a breath of fresh air to watch something realistic with underlying Christian values. It looks much more high quality than what is traditionally considered Christian and family-friendly TV. I have not had the opportunity to share this series with my mom yet, but I have told her about it, and I am looking forward to binge-watching this.

In many ways, what I love the most about the show is the real family dynamics. In traditional Christian entertainment, families have a sanitized relationship. Sometimes that even bleeds over into the working environment. This makes the characters less relatable, and it might cause people to lose interest. This series just seems so real, and this episode is raw and deals with some pretty serious situations.
