Disclosure: I was sent a copy of this movie for review purposes. I was not financially compensated in any way, and all views are my own.
In the words of Ronald Reagan, “Freedom is a fragile thing”. Individual freedoms and liberties are at the center of this passionate and emotional story, and it runs from the heart of the country to the corridors of Washington. Who will decide what a child needs to know for generations to come? Will God be left behind?
My thoughts: I have been a fan of the God’s Not Dead series from the very beginning. I remember watching the original film and being so engrossed, crying now and then, and just getting chills at different moments. And then every subsequent one has kept many of the familiar characters. It has been such an amazing series to watch, and I always felt that the support for the series was pretty strong in the Christian community.
Having the opportunity to watch and review the fourth movie of the series was such a treat. I loved seeing one of the character’s stories end very nicely. While there was the occasional novice actor (I don’t really mind that if the story is solid), the story was so compelling that I took no real notice of that. I know film critics might want to tear this apart, but this movie was definitely timely and well-done.
By far, my favorite part was the speech given near the end. I focused my entire attention on a speech that every person in America SHOULD hear right now! I love the fact that although this was faith-based, it was pro-American as well. The scene near the end where everyone came together despite their beliefs…well, you’ll just have to watch for yourself. Oh, and as a side note, seeing Judge Jeanine Pirro in this film was INCREDIBLE!!

Thanks for posting this trailer! I thought I saw an ad for God’s Not Dead but the people didn’t look familiar. The original movie I think inspired my daughters to find their own relationship with the Lord. I can’t wait for this one too! War Room was another awesome one too. I’d recommend it if you haven’t seen it.
