This is now the third year I have had the pleasure and honor of interviewing Rhys Matthew Bond (check out my previous interviews here and here), and although his answers are typically concise and precise, he is always gracious enough to give the Hallmark fans some insight into what the upcoming season of Good Witch just may entail. As we anticipate the premiere of the fourth season of this acclaimed series, I present the handsome, pragmatic young man who plays the incorrigible, beloved Nick Radford.
RH: As we prepare to watch Season four of Good Witch, what can we expect from your character, Nick, this season?

RMB: I think that Nick has really grown up this season. His thought process and his actions show a lot of maturity.
Do you have a favorite episode from season four? Without giving any spoilers, can you tell us what it is and/or which episode it is?
Without disclosing too much about the episode, my personal favourite this season was that of a family on a getaway trip who is forming and coming together and getting to know different aspects of each other.
Any hints as to whether Nick and Grace might make a match of it this season?

Nick and Grace have some great moment, but whether they will make a match you will have to watch and find out.
Why do you feel that Good Witch has been so successful for Hallmark?
Good Witch is about family, love, and hope. There is something for everyone to resonate with. I think that in the world that we live today, it is a good reminder of some important values that we should all practice.
I notice you are now on Heartland. Please tell us a bit about your role and what you have enjoyed about joining this series.
I have auditioned for Heartland for the role of Dylan in both American and British accents. Dylan is from England and he is a relative of the Westfield family which are extremely wealthy. He is arrogant at times, but he is a good guy. I very much enjoyed my time with Heartland. I have learned to ride a horse and had a great time with everyone.
You also appeared on a Lifetime film Deadly Exchange. What did you appreciate about doing that role and being a part of that film?
Deadly Exchange was a great opportunity to meet and work with some really great people.
I believe in your early years, you were back and forth between North America and the UK. Have you officially made the move to Canada/U.S.?
I moved to Canada with my family when I was ten years old. I now reside partly in Canada and partly in the U.S.
Nothing right now.
What is the best thing about being a young person in the industry? What is the most challenging?
The best thing is that you are blessed and you get to do what you love most. Finding the right balance is very important, but can be challenging at times.
Are you looking at the possibility of doing any writing/directing yourself?
At this stage, there is so much more that I would like to learn do and become, so acting is my complete focus.
At this point in your life, what do you like to do in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family. And my friends.

It is always a pleasure to highlight young actors in the business who have chosen to focus on the positivity in the world instead of pursuing the detrimental choices that often engulf the gossip columns. Although Rhys may not be a household name, he is one who has continued to apply himself in his career and focus on his passions and giftedness rather than sidetracking himself with the negative things in which far too many youths involve themselves in this day and age. Rhys has sustained his stable focus, and the fact that his family and friends are still a priority in his life is a further demonstration of a life that is committed to the good as opposed to the bad. It warms my heart to realize that Rhys is continuing to receive more lucrative opportunities as he hones his craft, and it boggles the mind to imagine where he might be one, five, or even ten years from now.

Celebrating 10 years of Good Witch. Cassie and Sam are newly engaged and work on wedding plans while subtly helping Grace and Nick mend their friendship before tying the knot and blending their families. Cassie continues to impact the lives of her guests at Grey House and works her special brand of magic with those closest to her as well. Grace’s senior year of high school finds her uncertain about plans for college and brings a bittersweet lesson about life and love. As Cassie and Sam’s wedding day approaches, their friends and family turn out for pre-wedding festivities.
