Niagara

Niagara Falls is one of the most beautiful travel destinations in the world. The region tends to attract retired people, but many younger families enjoy visiting Niagara Falls as well. You may want to consider bringing your family on your next trip. Here are some tips that you should follow.

Niagara Falls has many attractions that cater to families. Here are some of the places that you may want to check out.

The Niagara Adventure Theater

The Niagara Adventure Theater is a great place to learn more about Niagara Falls. You can watch a 45 minute movie that explains the history of Niagara Falls and shares plenty of tips for tourists. Admission for adults is $12 and children’s admission is $8.

Cave of Winds

Cave of Winds used to be a large cave behind Niagara Falls. It collapsed about 60 years ago, but many tourists still visit the site of the cave. Cave of Winds has since been turned into a state park, which is frequented by thousands of tourists every year.

This is a great park to take the entire family. You and your children can watch the amazing falls up close if you visit in the summer of early fall. The walkways are closed in November to protect them from ice damage, so you will need to plan your trip before then.

The Aquarium of Niagara

The Aquarium of Niagara is another popular vacation destination for families visiting Niagara Falls. You can bring your children to teach them about many different species of fish, seals and other wildlife.

You can find descriptions of various events offered on the website. You can watch the staff feed the sea lions, sharks and penguins on a daily basis. You can even let your kids feed the seals themselves by paying a $5 fee.

This is a very affordable holiday destination. Adults will only be charged a $10 admission fee and children can attend for $6.50. It is well worth the price if you want to teach your kids more about marine life. You can check out some of the reviews from other tourists at Trip Advisor.

Botanical Gardens

You may also want to check out the Botanical Gardens on your trip. This resort is about 10 minutes north of the falls.

The guides will take you on a walking tour and tell you all about the history of the gardens. You will get to gaze at some of the most beautiful plants in the world and take pictures of the scenic landscape. This is one of the most popular destinations in Niagara Falls and it only costs $18.50 to attend.

Enjoy Your Trip to Niagara Falls
