Windows Vista Display

It just so happens that I wouldn’t be typing today’s blog post if weren’t for  today’s feature.  On this date in 2007, Microsoft rolled out its much-anticipated Windows Vista as well as Microsoft Office 2007.  Five years had passed since the release of Windows XP, and this was a much-anticipated release.  Unfortunately, it was fraught with problems.  I can attest to that.  This is my mom’s laptop (she gave it to me), and while it has worked tolerably well, its operating system in Windows Vista.  There were all sorts of compatibility issues, and there were many problems (especially in the beginning).  When I was reading about this feature, it was almost laughable when I read that computer users who updated to this system had to install it  twice.  They found out that they had to have the system  already installed before they could update it. Go figure.
