I will be sharing my opinion with you, and maybe you will find that this is the perfect gift for that adult child of yours!

BIOS: Sophia Khan is a world traveler and student of life who loves to fuse flavors from different cuisines. She recently received master’s degrees from Yale and Harvard. Dr. Ellen Bass is an award-winning pediatrician and mother of four who derives her culinary inspiration from the cuisine of France. She received her M.P.H. from Yale and M.D. from Georgetown.
So what did I think? First of all, I admit that I would not have used this in college. I lived in the dorm, and there would not have been a chance. But I married young, and I can assure you I would have used it then! I was a pretty good cook, but I was never turned on to gourmet cooking. This takes the scariness away from gourmet cooking. All supplies are listed in the beginning, and for each recipe, both the ingredients and equipment are listed (this is a great idea–for every cookbook). I also like the fact that the estimated price for each meal is listed. That is very important when one is being frugal.
