I am very happy to report that I finished the blog challenge!  So much better than when I tried to do it before on my old blog.  This blog is still very new, and I have reached my 3-month goal a little bit early thanks to this challenge and other factors.

When I began this challenge at the beginning of July, I was hoping I would finish what I started.  I got behind at times, but I always caught up.  And the most important thing was the I produced quality content and connected with so many wonderful people.

So what goal did I realize?  When I began my blog, my goal was to have my numbers at essentially the same spot they were when google deleted my blog.  While I don’t have a google PR yet–that will happen the middle of this month–I have faithfully tracked my Alexa ranking and other ratings.  My facebook and twitter have grown astronomically–which only makes sense.  I didn’t really lose anything in regards to those.  However, my Alexa rank began at 6 million.  What does that mean?  It means that worldwide, there were six million websites more popular than mine.  With Alexa, you want your rank to get lower.  It tracks how many websites are more popular than yours.

In less than three months, my Alexa rank has moved to around 97,000.  This means that I have passed that 100,000 page rank, and only around 97,000 websites worldwide are more popular than mine!  I reached that goal, and it is so exciting to realize that I am now below 100,000!  I have never been at that point, and so I am definitely celebrating!

So how did I get there?  It’s been a lot of work, and it has cost me some money.  But it is all worth it.  Some people would think you need to stop and celebrate, and that is it.  But all good bloggers know that you can never get comfortable with the status quo.  You must keep pushing on.  So what is my next goal?  Within six months, I plan to have my blog turning at least some kind of profit.  I am tired of spending money and seeing no profit coming of it.  It will mean working hard yet again, but I believe it is possible.

Oh, and something else is going on.  Did you see this post?  I am actively trying to get down to 140 pounds.  And I believe it is completely possible.  I am tracking what I eat and how much I exercise.

Thank you to everyone who has made this possible.  Enjoy some of these fun posts:
