Since I try to be health-conscious, I am always pleased when I get the opportunity to review products that are good for me and will help me be even healthier than I already am.  NeoCell asked me to try a couple of their products, and all they asked was that I give my honest review.  So read on to discover what I thought.

NeoCell has been around since 1998, when the founder (a scientist and inventor) was struggling to recover from open heart surgery.  And so he added collagen protein into his diet which caused his recovery suddenly to swing into high gear.  This resulted in his starting his own company based on this nutrient in the hopes of helping others live happy, healthy, and longer lives.  NeoCell is now the number one collagen brand in the world. and they continue to work expanding and enhancing their line of products.

For my review, I chose to review both their new Beauty Bursts and their Sport Ultimate Recovery powder.  I have found that both of these have their place in my healthy lifestyle, so read on for my individualized review of each.

The NeoCell Beauty Bursts were by far the preferred item of the two, but that is mainly that I used it more often.  The flavor of these were wonderful–chocolate mint!  I had to take two of these every day as a supplement, and I have to admit that I forgot on occasion.  But most of the time, I did it over the past few weeks.  I did not take a before and after picture  because I was frankly skeptical that it would work.  The collagen in this product is supposed to make me look younger and improve my skin.  I am only 39, and I really don’t have wrinkles per se.  But what I can say is that my skin has improved its overall appearance.  I find that not wearing make-up is not a problem.  I don’t have people come to me and say that I look pale.  And I have not noticed blemishes that much–even though it is that time of the month.  I haven’t really changed anything else, but this does seem to work.  I have considered continuing this regimen.  Especially after seeing this dramatic change featured here.

The Collagen Sport Ultimate Recovery Complete is something I have only used a couple of times.  The reason is that when I added it to a protein drink for my mom and me, my mom got sick.  Thankfully we discovered that she was actually sick, not allergic to anything.  What I did notice about this powder is that it tasted better than most sport powders I had tried, and it gave me a lot of good energy and protein.  I have not been exercising as hard the past few weeks, so I haven’t really needed this.  But I plan to use it when the need arrives.
