ABOUT:

Paul McAlister is a success at everything—except what really matters. Separated from his wife and estranged from his son, Paul keeps his focus on his next boardroom mega-deal. Like an errant tee-shot on a difficult hole, Paul’s life could use a do-over … a “mulligan.” A retired golf pro tries to point this successful businessman who is far from God toward what really matters in life. Through their new friendship, the Old Pro helps Paul discover there’s hope for second chances in the One who offers us “the ultimate mulligan.”

Based on the popular book by Ken Blanchard and Wally Armstrong, THE MULLIGAN is an inspiring reminder that second chances are only one shot away. From the producer of Bobby Jones: Stroke Of Genius, THE MULLIGAN, sports an all-star cast that includes Eric Close (TV’s “Nashville”), Pat Boone, and PGA champion Tom Lehman and broadcasting legend Jim Nantz as themselves

• Whether it’s a second shot during a friendly round, rediscovering lost priorities, or the opportunity to make something good of a situation gone bad, there are times we all could use
a mulligan.
• Based on the popular book by Wally Armstrong and Ken Blanchard, THE MULLIGAN is an inspiring reminder that second chances are only one step away. From the producer of BOBBY
JONES: STROKE OF GENIUS, and the director-producer team behind THE ULTIMATE GIFT
comes THE MULLIGAN, sporting an all-star cast that includes Eric Close (NASHVILLE, AMERICAN SNIPER) as Paul, Pat Boone as the Old Pro, and PGA golfer Tom Lehman and broadcasting legend Jim Nantz as themselves. See it in theaters for two nights only on April 18 & 19.
• About the book, The Mulligan: THE MULLIGAN is based on the beloved book by former PGA
touring pro Wally Armstrong and bestselling author and business executive Ken Blanchard.
This inspiring story about relationships, forgiveness, and priorities is a shot of grace. Golf’s
gracious do-over, a mulligan is the beginning of Paul McAllister’s second chance. Guided by
the wisdom and advice of the Old Pro, Paul learns about priorities, self-confidence, and
playing a good game both on and off the course. The Mulligan is a parable of second
chances.

My Thoughts:

Now, I am not a golf lover. If you asked me what  Mulligan was, I would have absolutely no idea. But you don’t need to know about golf to enjoy this movie and its amazing message about what is really important in life. Couldn’t we all use a do-over??

Seeing Pat Boone was a highlight of this film. And this movie is the perfect family-friendly movie night for everyone. If you missed it in theaters, be sure that you take a look at the opportunity to host it in your church. It is not preachy, and you may know someone who could benefit from this message who wouldn’t normally go to church or to watch a faith-based movie. Pull out all the stops and let them know they will enjoy this film.
