Blogging Challenge Day #16: “Who is the hardest person on your list to buy for?”

To be honest, I rarely struggle that much with buying gifts. I tend to think outside the box, and somehow I seem to figure out what will be a good gift for someone. For the most part.

That being said, my biggest struggle is my two nieces. I know their preference would be to receive gift cards, but I absolutely cannot go that route. It is a last resort, but I don’t like to give myself that “out.” Gift cards just don’t seem right, especially for Christmas.

With my nieces now being in their twenties/thirties (I don’t recall their exact ages), I do my best to pay attention to their interests. They love traveling, but they have been unable to do that as much this year. They love attending football games, but that has been an impossibility this year as well. My older niece is a teacher, and my younger niece works in the medical profession. It’s been a crazy year, but I did find gifts that they will enjoy. Fingers crossed!!

There are actually 2 people U struggle to come up with that perfect gift. My brother and boyfriend. My brother usually buys all his own pants, shirts etc. so it takes thinking outside the box. Mark and I have been together for a long time. He’s very basic . He buys his own clothes when needed and he isn’t into sports . It becomes more and more difficult every year

my parents and my MIL. Retired, don’t need anything, don’t need to acquire anything, etc… I usually do restaurant gift cards, but I don’t want my parents going out to eat, so I’m shipping consumables, ex Hickory Farms, a ham, Harry & David, etc…
