There is not a thing wrong with this fun and engaging “clean romance.” Kathy has written a fantastic, easy-to-read, fast-paced book, and the only thing I can even criticize is that is predictable. And to be honest, I don’t see this as a problem. I have not read any other books in the series, and I had no trouble following the storyline. The characters are well-developed, and to be honest, this would make a great Hallmark film. In fact, this could be described as a Hallmark film in book form. However, unlike a movie, the reader can use his/her imagination, and of course, the story doesn’t have the same pitfalls as a film might.
I really have nothing else to say about this delightful book except that if you wish to escape for an hour or two into the world of sweet romance with a handsome cowboy and two beautiful but sometimes perplexing sisters, this is the book to choose. I had no trouble reading it in one evening, and I never found myself bored. And if I don’t miss my guess, Kathy has quite a series going, and I can hardly wait to read more about these wonderful characters and their unique stories.
