Note: I was sent a free product for review purposes.
The summertime is a time for getting out-of-doors, wearing less clothes, and unfortunately itchy skin. Itchy skin can be caused by allergies, the heat, poison ivy, and mosquitoes (to name a few). There are all sorts of over-the-counter remedies out there, but sometimes they just don’t work well enough. I speak from experience. My daughter is quite vulnerable to mosquito bites, and I was very grateful to be participating in this review campaign!
TriCalm is a gel that is free of steroids, and it gives the user quick relief from itching, burning and stinging. It is a safe product for use on all people from age two and up, and it can even be used on sensitive skin. Its formula specifically reduces the sensitivity of the nerves that send itching and burning signals to the brain. When I received this in the mail, I was not certain when we would get to use it.
Well, we went on vacation to Idaho, and in no time, the mosquitoes began “eating” my daughter up. I often forget about mosquitoes because they basically leave me alone. I was so glad that my mom and I decided to bring the TriCalm. She put it on her many bug bites, and she said it stung a little bit, but then it worked really well. The best part was that she could use it often as needed. My mom and my dad both used it as well. I have to admit I never did. When my daughter had ten bites, it didn’t work quite as well, but it was effective for the most part.
Just this week, my sister-in-law came over, and her stomach/waist was itching. She had major skin irritation due to using a body wrap incorrectly, and she had a tremendous rash because of it. She agreed to try this product, but she immediately regretted it. She said it really burned, but amazingly, the itching stopped shortly thereafter (as did the burning). She had complete relief for hours.
So, in conclusion, this is a product that we are going to keep on hand in the future. We are sold on it, and I invite you to check out their site as listed above as well as facebook and twitter. And by the way, this product is available at Walmart, Walgreen’s, CVS, and many more places!
I was sent a free product in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.
