Operation is simple – keep it off the floor about three feet and away from walls and corners. Definitely don’t want to breed mold. The family just places it on a multiple step stool. They could easily also place it on one of the little side tables in her daughter’s room – just move it away from the wall. They don’t add anything to the water – no oils, medications or salt.
