Jumping Genres

Welcome to Jumping Genres in June Giveaway Hop!

This hop is about trying a book outside your comfort zone.  I do that on occasion, and so should you!  Therefore, my giveaway is going to be one book that is outside your normal genre.  I occasionally read fantasy books and even vampire books (I was “raked over the coals” earlier this week for giving a rating that was lower than someone thought it should have been, but I did go outside my genre!).  There will be one international winner, and all you need to do is enter the rafflecopter below by 9 P.M. Pacific time on June 14.  Be sure to enter the other giveaways in the blog hop as well!

I don’t read a lot of books in the fantasy genre although there are some that I have wanted to try (i.e. Stephen King’s Dark Tower series).

Thank you for the chance to win 🙂

I’m a pretty eclectic reader, but I don’t read anything scary (I’m a big baby), so I’d probably try something like that.

I’d probably have to pick mysteries. I used to read them all of the time and I haven’t read them in years. Thanks!

Luckily Steampunk is outside my normal genre and I’ve wanted to read more; I’ve read a bit and I enjoy it, but I keep forgetting about it. Dystopian stories are also a bit outside my faves. I like it, as well, I just don’t tend to receive much.

I’ve never read a Stephen King novel. I am hoping to get into horror novels some time this year to see if I would like them. =)

I’m unusually reading thriller, suspense, science fiction, and paranormal genre. That’s not me and feeling unsuitable with my personal character as well. Normally, I read romance, historical fiction, poetry, self-help, etc, but not with the three above.
