Jumping Genres

Welcome to Jumping Genres in June Giveaway Hop!

This hop is about trying a book outside your comfort zone.  I do that on occasion, and so should you!  Therefore, my giveaway is going to be one book that is outside your normal genre.  I occasionally read fantasy books and even vampire books (I was “raked over the coals” earlier this week for giving a rating that was lower than someone thought it should have been, but I did go outside my genre!).  There will be one international winner, and all you need to do is enter the rafflecopter below by 9 P.M. Pacific time on June 14.  Be sure to enter the other giveaways in the blog hop as well!

Outside my “normal” genre would be full on HORROR. I’ll occasionally do horror-lite (loved Rotters by Daniel Kraus).

Historical, definitely. I don’t venture into that genre much.

I’m very picky when it comes to reading sci-fi books, since the “world” created in the book should be established well to make me interested. I rarely read horror books 🙂

I’m not a huge fan of horror. It’s not that I get scared easily (I love ghost stories), it’s just fantasy and sci-fi suite me better.

I do not read as many Sci-Fi as I would like, there are just so many different genres out there that I love.

I tend to read across all genres, but I would have to say that I don’t read much Sci-Fi or mystery within the YA genre.
    Thanks for the great giveaway!

I don’t usually read contemporary, because I prefer fantasy to the real world. I’m picky with my contemporaries, but there have been some I’ve enjoyed.

Scifi is really one of the only genres I havent read much in. I read a book or two when I was younger but never got into it. I have seen a lot of great reviews though recently so I would like to try one.

Nonfiction, steampunk, new adult, contemporaries or romance novels.
