January 8th to 15th
I am the first to admit that I am not a fantasy book fan.  However, it would seem that as time has gone on, I have come to appreciate fantasy books, and I sometimes even enjoy them!
I thought I would ask my daughter what her favorite fantasy book was.  I do love Cinder and Scarlet by Marissa Meyer (can hardly wait for Cress).  For me, fantasy books are not the normal read for me, but my daughter prefers them.  So her favorite?  Harry Potter.  Probably followed closely by the Owls of Ga’hoole series.
Because I have learned to enjoy and appreciate fantasy books (Marissa Meyer is one of my favorite authors), I am going to give away one book in this genre to an international reader (as long as Book Depository or Fishpond ships to them) $15 or under.  Pre-orders are always acceptable as long as they meet the criteria.  Just enter the rafflecopter below, and then hop on for more chances to win books.  This is a blog hop after all!  But get those entries in by 9 P.M. Pacific time on January 15.

I love fantasy for the incredible worlds created and ideas that come to life. There’s something so fun about reading about something that could never happen in our own world.
    Thanks!

I have a love hate relationship with fantasy. I hold my fantasy to extremely high standards, because the author needs to get me to suspend my disbelief. If it feels like the world isn’t complete or couldn’t be real, I can’t read it.
