read a thonI am finally putting up my wrap-up post for this challenge!  I have actually been working really hard to get one item done, but here is what I did accomplish from December 9-22.

Here was my original challenge:

1. Finish my “for fun” book–maybe even two books, if I can.

2. As I write this, I am only six books away from my year goal. That’s good, but I have decided to not worry about that. I plan to read at least 15 books during this time listed. That will include the for fun books.

3. My final goal is to get caught up on my cross posting of reviews. I am way behind on that.

Okay, so I did finish #1–I finished my for fun book and started the second one.  But I don’t think I finished the second one–I know I didn’t read 15 books, but here is what I did read.

December  9:  Finished The Christmas Bride by Sylvia McDaniel

December 11:  Finished The SockKids Meet Lincoln by Michael John Sullivan and Susan Petrone

December 14:  Finished my Just-for-fun book:  The Reluctant Widow by Georgette Heyer

December 16: Finished The 40 Most Influential Christians: Who Shaped What We Believe Today by Daryl Aaron

December 17:  Finished Home Again by Kathleen Shoop

Also finished: Best Served Cold by Tawdra Kandle

December 19:  Finished A Bargained-For Bride by Marcia Lynn McClure

Also finished: The Raie’Chaelia by Melissa Douthit

So I only finished 8 books, but that’s okay.  I also worked very hard on the third one.  I have been updating and cross-posting reviews like crazy!  I am not done, but I am doing it still!

Eight books? Well done! That means you finished your yearly goal, right?

Happy Reading in the New Year!
