midwinterWelcome to the Midwinter’s Eve Giveaway Hop!  This is hosted by Bookhounds and I Am a Reader.  We had  our own taste of winter in the Pacific Northwest when we had a bit of snow and a 2-hour late start at school today.  And we all went to see Frozen today.  So, I am definitely in the winter mode. In honor of the start of winter, I am giving away a book of your choice up to $15.  This giveaway is open worldwide as long as Book Depository, Fishpond, and/or amazon ships to you.  Once you enter the rafflecopter below, please hop on for even more giveaways!  This giveaway will end 9 P.M.  Pacific time on December 31.

The best part about winter for me is Christmas! Speaking of, Merry Christmas! One of the best Christmas time books is Chronicles of Narnia. It isn’t technically a Christmas book, but it is great for curling up with a blanket and some hot cocoa in front of the fire!

I love the cold weather, although here in Florida it’s not really cold this year.

I love when it snows enough and we can turn on our chimney I love lounging by the fire reading to my son or playing with him with his new puppy.

I know it sounds like of lame but I love the cold weather. I live in the south and it is always so HOT here. The humidity is always high. So when winter comes along I love it. Although today I have my A/C blasting and tomorrow night it’s supposed to get cold. Then it will get hot again. It sucks. But thank you so much for this giveaway. Always appreciated.

What I like best about winter is it keeps me inside so I can read more books.

  22. Isa December 21, 2013 Reply

I don’t have winter where I live nor do I really read wintery books although Blankets sort of falls into that category. Anyhow, my favourite type of books to read around Christmas are either high fantasy books or books I know I’d get very emotional about, The Book Thief, for example. Thank you for the giveaway, enjoy your day! 🙂
