midwinterWelcome to the Midwinter’s Eve Giveaway Hop!  This is hosted by Bookhounds and I Am a Reader.  We had  our own taste of winter in the Pacific Northwest when we had a bit of snow and a 2-hour late start at school today.  And we all went to see Frozen today.  So, I am definitely in the winter mode. In honor of the start of winter, I am giving away a book of your choice up to $15.  This giveaway is open worldwide as long as Book Depository, Fishpond, and/or amazon ships to you.  Once you enter the rafflecopter below, please hop on for even more giveaways!  This giveaway will end 9 P.M.  Pacific time on December 31.

The only thing i really enjoy about winter is the fireplace, hot coco, hot cider, and snow but I hate the cold. I am not a winter gal. I prefer my flip flops and shorts over what we’re getting today…

I live in sub-tropical climate so most of the year its hot and humid. I love winter because that’s when temperature drops and air is cooler! I prefer thriller mystery genre during these days with my cuppa tea.

  4. I love snow in winter. I love the way is cracks under my boots, I love the sound of it.

What I like best about winter is that I live in South Florida so I don’t have to deal with driving in the snow!

I love winter snow but only for a little while. Watching the ice coat everything and the sun shines on it making it twinkle.

I have to admit that I’m not the biggest fan of winter out there, but really enjoy all the upcoming holidays, especially spending time with family and friends, baking cookies, decorating Christmas tree and house, watching movies, reading.. All and all, great time of the year! 🙂
    Thanks for a giveaway! 🙂

Hi. We dont have winter season at my end.But at this time of the year I prefer a coffee and reading a good book!!

Thanks for the giveaway! I’m not really a winter person but I love going for a walk in the crispy cool air. I’ve just read a book of Christmas stories by Maeve Binchy and that is a good way to get into the holiday spirit.

I always like to re-read one of the Harry potter books during my Winter break 🙂 Brings all the Christmassy feels right back 🙂

  24. Rosario December 21, 2013 Reply

Let’s see, what I like about winter is the weather! I don’t practice any seasonal sport, so no winter sport for me. As for books, I am the kind of person that read anything in any day of the year, meaning I don’t have a preference. But I don’t know why, in winter, I prefer watching romantic movies than (ex) action. And I don’t know what else to say! 🙂
Thanks for the giveaway, and happy holidays!
