The Return of the King

Today’s feature should certainly interest some of my readers.  On this date in 1955, J.R.R. Tolkien published the final book of the Lord of the Rings trilogy–Return of the King.  I will be honest.  This is the book I never finished.  I read the first two books in the series, and I even read The Hobbit.  I began reading this one, and I almost finished it.  But for whatever reason, I lost interest.  I always intended to go back and reread it, but I watched the movie instead.  Pretty pathetic, isn’t it?
