I Have Joined the Local Flavor Swap! And You Can, Too!

If anyone knows me, you might be surprised to see that I am signing up for a swap. I used to do this a lot when i was younger, but I was burned one too many times. When it came to sending things in the mail, I always made it a point to do this without question. I would acknowledge my gift and thank the person, but all too often, that person didn’t acknowledge my gift. My first year of blogging, this happened with one swap. And with the other, I never received anything. I decided to give it up.

Well, I have joined the Local Flavor Swap, and I am confident that this will be fun to share Washington state products with someone else! Here’s more information about the swap:

Your Swap Objective

Fill a package with goodies that represent your town, or things specific to your location, for your partner.

(for example: If you’re from Seattle, you might include Starbucks goodies, since Starbucks is a known brand from Seattle, or an umbrella, since Seattle is a rainy area)

Local Flavor Swap Rules

Packages must contain items related to your location.
Packages must cost a minimum of $20 and maximum of $30 BEFORE shipping.
Send a package that you, yourself, would like to receive- it should be personalized to fit your partner’s preferences and style.
You must respond to emails from the swap hosts within a timely fashion.
You MUST post and link up your swap reveal post after receiving your package. This is non-negotiable.
