Best of SummerWelcome to the Best of Summer 2013 Kid Lit Giveaway Hop hosted by Mother Daughter Book Reviews and Youth Literature Reviews. You are welcome to hop around and enter to win books, cash, gift cards, and more!

This Giveaway Hop runs from August 26th to September 6, 2013, so Happy Hopping!

As I considered what to giveaway, I decided that you would get to pick from my favorites list.  In other words, the books that I read this summer that received a rating of a four or a five from me.  I’ll give you a few of my favorites, but I’ll also leave a link to my books on goodreads.  Any young adult, new adult (I know that’s a bit of a stretch), or kid’s book that I read from June through the end of August (there’s still a few days left) is up for grabs.

One international reader will pick a four or five-star book on my shelf from this summer, and that will be the prize (as long as the price is $15 or under).  This giveaway is open worldwide as long as book depository or fishpond ship to you.  The giveaway will end 9 P.M. Pacific time on September 6.  And don’t forget to hop around!

The best book that I read this summer was Down a Lost Road by J. Leigh Bralik. It was so good I immediately purchased the other two books in the series, Subverter and Prism. Technically it is a teen series but these are definitely some of the best books I have ever read.
