All I can say is that God works in mysterious ways. I live in a household with my daughter and my parents. I don’t get along with my Dad, and that is a long story. I try to get along with him, but, well, I won’t say anymore about that.
You might remember that I talked about my car accident last week. I was rear ended and failed to get the information from the person who caused the accident. My dad was the one who found a place who could fix it for $400. Because the guy likes my dad, I was only charged $300! My bumper looks better than it has in years, and I can completely close my trunk. If my dad hadn’t been a part of this, I would have been looking at more like $2000! I am grateful to God and to this wonderful car mechanic.
On a different note, my mom has learned not to stand on dryers. Okay, I’m not kidding here. My mom is getting over bronchitis, and she thought she would do a bit of work. I was on my computer and heard my mom yell and something crash. I found my mom on the floor (only bruised, thank God!). She stood on the dryer to reach something! And she said she had done it before. I am glad that God protected her in her stupidity. And she will never stand on a dryer again.
Now it’s time for our featured linker of the week. I really love that people come over here and link up each week with us, and as a little thank you I like to feature one of the lovely linkers whose post really spoke to me. Would you like to be featured? All you need to do is to link up below – I pick out a different post to feature every week.
