I am so happy to tell you about a great product that I chanced to do a review in exchange for my honest review.  ToGo Brands is a company that I have worked with before (see here for a previous review with them).  All they asked was that I give my honest review, and that is what I will be doing.

Do your children ever complain when it is time to take their vitamins?  Or how about you?  Do you complain when taking all those horrible vitamins in the morning (or the evening, or whenever)?  My daughter and I both are not always amenable to taking our vitamins, but we do it without question.  I am always looking for new vitamins that make taking those pills more pleasant.  And it just so happens that ToGo Brands has a fantastic solution.

VitaRocks Kids Daily is a great new product that make taking vitamins and almost pleasant experience.  These are formulated just for kids, and they are the perfect alternative to gummy vitamins.  Granted, gummy vitamins are fine, but why not give your kids some “rocks” that pop with flavor?  These don’t stick to young teeth (which may cause damage), and once they go in the child’s mouth, it’s almost like having a party in their mouths.  Better still, these are naturally sweetened and have zero artificial flavors.  This is different from most of the  kids vitamins out there.

As you can see from the picture at the top of the post, they come in four flavors.: blue razz, cherry blast, grape gusher, and orange burst C.  The last one is a perfect daily support to your child’s immune system.  I personally like all flavors (yes, I tried them, too).  My daughter, who is almost ten, tried all four flavors, but she was not too fond of them.  I hate to write that, but it’s true.  My daughter is a very picky eater.  She often would open a packet, begin to pour it in her mouth, and then set it aside.  I think she liked the blue razz and cherry blast the best, but she just couldn’t get into these.

I really felt bad about giving these a negative review, but I am not going to do that.  I decided that if she wasn’t going to use them I would.  And let me tell you something.  These may be formulated for children, but they are the perfect after-workout energy snack.  These little VitaRocks gave me almost instant energy when I was done exercising and still had to cook dinner.  I know this is an unconventional way to use these, but it worked for me.

So what I would say is that most children will like these.  My daughter doesn’t often like much of anything she has to review when it comes to food.  I think she gets her picky behavior from her dad.  I believe that if she had begun with these way back when, she never would have known that gummy vitamins existed.   I think these taste good, are fun to “eat,” and truly give the burst of energy that anyone could appreciate, not just children.
