Most of us are familiar with Albert Einstein and his great achievements in this world, but we may not realize how many profound quotes he made that fit perfectly with practically any situation and occasion.  His quotes have infiltrated our society in so many ways that you may be amazed at the variety of topics they do cover.

Since I am a teacher, I was immediately drawn to what he had to say about education.

albert-einstein-supreme-artBecause of my love for teaching, this particular quote resonates with me.  My whole purpose in teaching is to inspire  students to learn creatively and express what they have learned in their own unique way.  It’s not about disseminating information. It is about teaching students to have joy in the process of their own learning.

example-is-the-only-way-to teachI also firmly believe in this quote. Teachers are often told to give examples and model what they are teaching. All too often, teachers (and other adults) take the easy way out.  They “teach,” but they do not lead by example.  I am certain that Einstein had it right, and I do my best to always teach by example–no matter what I am teaching.

Of course, this only touches the surface.  If you check out the various Einstein quotes available here, You may find the perfect quote for your classroom, workplace, or even an upcoming holiday. Indeed he was a man who had a gift for memorable quotes.
