For as long as I can remember, I have had somewhat dry skin.  As I have gotten older, the problem has improved, but there are times I get a dry or itchy patch on my skin that has to be treated.  I am frugal at heart, and I often turn to the cheap lotions that are mostly made of water and don’t contain quality ingredients.  I have discovered little relief when I do that, and this has led me to comprehend the old adage that you do indeed get what you pay for.

A while back, I was sent a product called Vitamin K1 8% Intensive Serum.  Although it certainly helps with those itchy patches (I can vouch for that), it also works to decrease the appearance of bruises, scars, varicose veins, and more.  I have a horrible scar from a dog bit a couple years ago, and I plan to continue to use this product to work on that spot.  It has faded some over time, but I would love to have it fade any more, and this may be just the product for which I am seeking.  It even says it will reduce the appearance of puffiness and dark circles under the eyes.  I hadn’t realized that until I began writing this review!

You might be wondering what the ingredients are, and of course, that is extremely important.  Here’s the list:

Active Ingredients
•  Vitamin K1
•  Vitamins A, B and E
•  Jojoba Oil
•  Aloe
•  Sweet Almond
•  Arnica Flower Extract
•  Horse Chestnut

I recognize most of these ingredients, and it makes me feel good that these are natural healers.  I have used Arnica, Jojoba Oil, and Vitamin E on skin issues before with excellent success.  And now there is a serum that has all of these ingredients in it.  I have not used this for the full two to three weeks as of yet, but it certainly feels good on my skin.  I plan to continue to use this on skin imperfections, and I am pretty confident it will work.

I did notice a warning on the site, and I have chosen to include it here in case this applies to anyone reading this review:

*IMPORTANT – If you are using a blood-thinning medication, consult your physician before using Vitamin K1 8% Intensive Serum. As with all Bioque products, you need only apply a small amount. Improper application is wasteful and may cause unnecessary irritation. Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Not to be taken internally and, as with all cosmetics, keep out of the reach of children.

I am very happy with this product, and I hope you check out the link above.  Also, if you hurry, you can enter a giveaway on their site for their Eye Restore Product.  Click here if interested!  Be sure to follow them on facebook and twitter for the latest deals and news.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
