When I think of the car Porsche, I think quality and expense.  And on this date in 1948, the first Porsche, the Porsche 356, made its debut.  Austrian automotive engineer Ferdinand Porsche actually showcased his first design at the World’s Fair in Paris in 1900.  It was an electric vehicle that could go 35 miles per hour.  He helped get the Mercedes car going, and the Volkswagon was designed by him and his son (commissioned by Hitler).  Following WWII, the French imprisoned Porsche for about a year on the charges of war crimes.  His son made a Grand Prix car and got his father released from prison.  And finally, we reach this pivotal day in history.

    Wow!

That car looked solid and amazing!

And well it´s good Porsche was released from prison. Otherwise we wouldn´t be able to see all the art in wheels we get to see with all Porsches cars
