One of the dearest people I know in the When Calls the Heart family has to be Andrea Brooks. She was one of those very first interviews I ever did (I actually interviewed her back when she was NOT popular and the fans were insisting that she leave Jack alone!), and I’ve never forgotten her professionalism, her kindness, her talent, and her animated, upbeat personality. I have had the opportunity to meet her in person twice, and while those times have been relatively short, they have always been sweet. In anticipation of the premiere of When Calls the Heart: The Greatest Christmas Blessing and season six When Calls the Heart, she and I recently chatted about an extensive variety of topics, and I am honored to share her interview with my readers today.
RH: Andrea, it is so good to be able to chat with you again! We hardly saw each other during HFR.
AB: Ruth, so good to see you. And yes, I know! It was one of the craziest times. For me, it was a little bit rushed trying to meet with all the fans.
There was that, but for the most part, I think people were pretty pleased with it. And at least it wasn’t taking five hours to see everyone!
I agree with you there. I suppose for me it was crazy because I was filming three projects at once during that time. I had the wildest October of all-time. Definitely! {laughs} I have had some much-needed time off to recover, and I’ve been very grateful for that. I have been spending my time clearing my head and working out and catching my breath because things are going to be getting super busy over on Supergirl for me now. I am currently experiencing the calm before the storm.
That’s great for you, Andrea. I am way behind on Supergirl, so one of these days, I need to get caught up. I saw a couple of your episodes back when you first joined the cast, but I am just so busy that it’s easy to fall behind.
Let me get you briefly caught up with Eve Teschmacher. At the end of last season, Eve started working for Lena Luthor at L-Corp. It was a pretty cool transition that happened at the end of last season, and it been getting fleshed out this season. There are some new things for Eve. She has a bit of a new style, and there’s some fun stuff coming up for her.
Didn’t you go down to LA to be a part of a special documentary connected with Eve Teschmacher?
Yes, I did. That also happened in October. I managed to squeeze in a little business trip at the beginning of October. And then I managed to get sick right after that, so it was chaos. But while I was in LA, I went to a late-night talk show. And I also managed to squeeze in my interview for a new documentary Valerie, and it chronicles the life of Valerie Perrine, who played the original Eve Teschmacher in the ’70s. She’s unfortunately quite ill with Parkinson’s Disease. Stacey Souther, who is the filmmaker on this project, he invited me down, and I got to meet Valerie. It was a really neat passing-of-the-torch where I got to chat with her and explain to her what’s happening on Supergirl. She’s been watching, of course, and she’s so excited that this character is still in existence and being portrayed to a new audience and new generation. We had a fabulous visit. And it was also an honor ’cause she’s such an icon from the ’70s.
Is this documentary going to be something that will go to film festivals first and then eventually pop up on Netflix or Amazon or something like that?
I think that’s Stacey’s plan for the project. He’s been working on it for a number of years. He’s chronicled Valerie’s unfortunate decline with Parkinson’s Disease. And she’s being really open and brave about that. I think he’s planning to take it to the festival circuit once it’s completed, and we’ll see what happens.
That had to have been a pretty awesome experience for you.
Oh yeah, and I grew up watching Superman because the Superman franchise was one of my mom’s favorites. She loved Christopher Reeve. I remember being a kid at my grandparents’ house over the summer months and my brother and I would go out every weekend and rent ten VHS tapes for ten dollars at Blockbuster. When I was somewhere around ten, my mom said I should really watch Superman. So I watched those over the summer as I was growing up. When I found out I was cast as Eve, I was so excited. I was like, “I know this character! She saved Superman! This is so cool!” So actually getting to meet Valerie and talk with her was pretty surreal. And she’s had such an amazing career. She won awards at the Cannes Film Festival. She was nominated for an Academy Award. She was an ex-showgirl, so she’s got this amazing life history. She has a lot of caretakers now, and her room is covered in all of her old awards and Vogue covers. She’s met the most famous people on the planet, and she’s had the most incredible career. Getting to see all that firsthand and getting to chat with her was pretty neat.
I realize this has also been quite a year for you because this fall you also got married.
I did! I squeezed that in somewhere along the line.
I want to be sure to say “Congratulations.” I am very happy for you!
Thank you!
It looks like you got married and you hardly had much time before you were back on When Calls the Heart.
I didn’t really get any time off at all. I knew that was going to happen going into this, and maybe that’s not ideal. But that’s how it is right now. I think I had one day off in total.
And then it’s been so crazy between Supergirl and When Calls the Heart because this season, both shows literally started on the exact same day. I have had a lot of days this season where I had to wake up and go to Supergirl and shoot my scenes there in the morning. And then as of noon or whatever the cutoff time was, I would head over to the other set and When Calls the Heart would have me for the second half of the day. There has been a lot of that back and forth stuff this season.
When you’re an actor, the one thing you can always rely on is all productions stop over the holidays. Basically, every production has a two-week period where they’re not shooting. And that’s really the only scheduling thing we can rely on as an actor. So I know that during that break, I will be going away and chilling out and not thinking about work for a while. So that’s gonna be great!
It was interesting to me that there were a number of people at the Hearties reunion who called out, “Miss Teschmacher!” So cool that they were there and they watch Supergirl. I’m always pleasantly surprised when I meet people who watch both.
Speaking of When Calls the Heart, I tried to keep up with all your updates during the filming of the season. I found it interesting that you guys filmed season six first and then the Christmas movie.
It was interesting, and we were also so very thankful. When filming the Christmas movie is first up, it’s July/August/September. It’s so hot, and we have to deal with Christmas coats and snow. So this season to be able to shoot the Christmas movie in October, it was starting to get a bit chilly and felt a little bit more authentic. But it is a little funny in terms of storylines. You spend a whole season developing stories, then you’re going backwards and you realize, “Oh, yeah, this hasn’t happened yet and that hasn’t happened yet.” You have to take your character back in time, and that was fun.
And this year you get to be in a Christmas movie! You weren’t in one last year and you were greatly missed.
Yes, last year “Faith” was shooting a wedding movie.
Yes, you and “Charles” were getting married.
Exactly. In an alternate universe. {laughs} I know unfortunately it didn’t work out timewise last year, but this year, we’re all there. It’s gonna be really fun. I’m actually really excited for this When Calls the Heart Christmas movie.
And in addition to that one, you were in two other Christmas movies. One for Hallmark and one for Lifetime.
Yes, I did one called Santa’s Boots, and that one is not Hallmark. And then I did Jingle Around the Clock, which is Hallmark. And then, of course, When Calls the Heart: The Greatest Christmas Blessing. I hadn’t really thought about it, but that’s a lot of Christmas. I’ve been celebrating Christmas since the beginning of last summer!
So what can you tell us about Faith in season six When Calls the Heart?
Oooh, that’s a good question. I think you are going to see Faith confront aspects of her past that until this season have not been dealt with. I think Faith tends to keep a little bit of a shell around her so that she can present a certain front to those in the community around her. And that shell starts to crack a little bit this season. We get to see parts of her heart that she’s never put on display before.
That sounds about right. I know that everybody is full speed ahead with Faith and Dr. Carson getting together.
Yeah, our characters do work together. Paul {Greene} is the number one person I am with on set. We’re both based in the infirmary, so that makes sense. It’s funny how I’ve been reading comments about this since Paul joined the cast in season four. I think there’s just something about a nurse and a doctor–perhaps it’s cliché–but I think a lot of people have always been on the lookout for a romance between the two of us. And if you think back on it, there have been some special moments between them almost from the beginning. There was that moment where Carson stepped in and saved her from Railroad Man Ray. And there have been some pretty tender moments between the two of them. She confronted him about his wife that passed away. I think people have latched onto this for a while, and it’s just picking up steam as the seasons go ahead.
I know we’ve talked about if Faith is ever going to find love over the past couple seasons. It seems like she’s been so unlucky in love. You really can feel for the woman if you think about all these failed relationships.
I really have learned to embrace that part of Faith. I think that is something that a lot of women can relate to. It’s so hard to find the right partner. So many of us are unlucky in love. We try, and we give it our all, and we put our hearts out there. And sometimes it just doesn’t work. It doesn’t mean that you’re a bad person or that you’re wrong; it’s just reality. The course of love never did run smooth. I really like that about Faith. And I think every time she gets beaten down or something doesn’t work out, she just channels it into work. She loves her work; that’s her passion. She throws herself into that. And she loves her community; she loves the people around her. She has so much support and a great life, but I do think being unlucky in love is an interesting story to play. And it’s something that people respond to.
I think that should Faith ever find the right person and she ends up getting married–no matter how many seasons that takes–I still think she’s not going to give up her passion for being a nurse. When she does find the right guy, the guy is going to have to accept the fact that she’s not going to give up her profession and just be a wife and a mother. She’s going to show that she can do it all. She can be a wife, a mother…
And a career woman! Absolutely! And she stands on her own two feet. And I love that about her, especially given that this is a time period piece. I respect the fact that she is that dedicated to her career and helping people.
During HFR4, they showed a five-minute clip with a few tiny scenes from season six, and what I thought was cool is that they alluded to the fact that Elizabeth continues her teaching career even after becoming a mother. It almost reminds me of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. Dr. Quinn had a baby and didn’t stop being a doctor. And now that we have Elizabeth, who is a young widow with a baby with no family around, she doesn’t run home to be with her family…which she could have done. She stays in Hope Valley and is a teacher and a mother.
I’m so glad they included that because that is a through-line for this season. I think you see a lot of women in their careers who work extremely hard and manage to balance it all. And that’s such a hard thing to do. But I think there’s a lot of women in Hope Valley who have those values, and I think that’s so great. We all have to balance so much in our lives and careers, so it’s nice to have that displayed in our show.
I got to meet the new cast members as well, played by Kevin McGarry and Chris McNally. I’m sure Faith must have some interactions with these new cast members. I would venture to say that the doctor and the nurse know everybody in town.
That is true.
What was it like having these new main characters getting added to the cast?
First of all, we got so lucky. We have two of the nicest guys who joined the cast. They couldn’t be nicer. And I was already good friends with Chris. We had done a movie together, The Sweetest Heart, the year before. And we have so many friends in common, and we had become really good buddies.
When I found out early on that Chris was shortlisted and then become the ultimate choice, I texted him with, “Yeah! I’m so excited!” We threw a little party for ourselves, and after the first day of shooting, I told him everything he needed to know about the show. Chris is so lovely and such a fantastic actor.
Same with Kevin. I had not met Kevin before, but he had done a movie with Cindy Busby, and he’d been on Heartland. I was aware of who he was for sure. But also, he is such a genuine human being. Such an awesome actor, and he couldn’t be nicer. I’ve been lucky enough to spend a lot of time with him outside of work, which I do with a lot of people from the show ’cause we’re all actually friends. I think this is a demanding thing they both were asked to do–walking onto a show–because of the past events last season. It’s tough, but they both rise to the occasion quite well, and they wanted to do their absolute best. It’s kind of strange. By the end of the season, it felt like they’d always been here. They fit right in.
Seeing them at HFR4, I can see everything you’re saying. They seemed like a perfect fit for the show. And really, once Erin {Krakow} announced that they were being added to the show, as I told Chris, I’ve already picked out his character as my new favorite. Not that I won’t like Kevin’s character; I know I will. But since Chris is the saloon owner, I know I tend to go for the edgier characters. And as it turned out, he’s the only one I got to interview in person at HFR. Now without giving spoilers, of course, can you tell us about a favorite scene or moment you had in season six?
You know, I feel like a lot of my favorite scenes ever from When Calls the Heart will be from this season. We’ll see how it all turns out. There are a lot of moments that were really special this season.
I can give you some funny stories. We shot in a lot of buggies this season, with horses. So I was around horses a lot more this season. One of the funny things with that is that when you’re in a buggy, you have a horse in front. There’s always wranglers on set who are in charge of the horses. The wrangler actually has to sit–like lie down flat underneath you in the buggy–and have a hold of the reins in case something goes wrong. Imagine how funny that is. Any time your character is shooting and you’re off doing something important and riding a buggy, there’s a wrangler underneath you! {laughs} Who’s just controlling the buggy and the horse. And you look down and are reminded, “Oh, there’s a human there. Right! Of course!” So any time you see characters in a buggy, just think about that and remember there’s a wrangler on the floor. I found that kind of funny.
There are a lot of moments with Faith confronting her past, and those were some of my favorites to play. It’s the raw things she hasn’t dealt with as of yet. And this season, she has to deal with them.
In addition to that…oh gosh, I have a few favorite episodes. One of my favorite episodes was directed by Martin Wood this season. He’s a tremendous director, and he comes in with such a solid vision. I really like the way he works. And he really pushed me to get the best performance possible. And I walked away from that feeling pretty good. We’ll see how it turns out because you never know until you see the final product. But at least I knew that walking away from that episode, I felt pretty happy with the direction I had received from him.
I’m very familiar with Martin’s work. Everyone seems to speak very highly of him, and I think he’s a Hallmark favorite director.
That’s amazing. And of course, all of our directors are fabulous.
I happened to meet another of the When Calls the Heart directors when I was at HFR–Peter DeLuise. He was my tour guide. And his wife was there too, and she has been on the show.
That’s so cool.
And there is a funny story that goes along with that. I posted the video over on YouTube, but Peter DeLuise directed me in a scene while on tour. I was an unwilling participant, but I’m glad I did it. It was definitely an interesting experience. And I walked away thinking I never want to be an actor! I knew it was a lot of work, but after going through it, I’ll stick with the writing! {laughs}
{laughs} That’s so funny!
Actually, my biggest problem was that I kept looking at him at the end of the scene. I would do it just fine, but my choir background just trained me to always look at the director, but you’re not supposed to do that on film!
It’s really hard to train your brain to do that. Honestly, when you’re doing a scene with another person, there are literally sixty to a hundred people, depending on the scale of the production, standing around watching the monitors, watching you closely, watching your hair, watching your wardrobe, adjusting the cameras, adjusting the dolly, working the camera…and there’s movement and there’s activity…I mean all the crews–especially ours–are extremely respectful. But you have to learn as an actor to block all the other stuff out. It’s like turning the lights down and focusing. Sometimes, as an actor, you have these moments where it really feels like the world falls away and you’re in it. But that doesn’t always happen.
Sometimes you’re doing an incredibly intimate scene, and you’re constantly aware of how strange everything is. And other times, it disappears and you’re so in the moment. It just depends on the day, the moment, your mindset. It’s this weird training you have to go through. It takes years to learn to really ignore all that outside stuff. Sometimes you know that they’re running tight to finish the day, and a jackhammer starts going off down the street. And you have to be able to focus through that. And even if the director stops you in the scene or they give you the direction that they want you to stay in it, you have to be able to listen, acknowledge, and keep going. It’s such a bizarre world. There’s nothing natural about acting for film and TV.
So moving onto Santa’s Boots. What can you tell us about that movie?
It’s been a while since I’ve done it, and I know from the ADR session that there are some good scenes in it. But I look forward to seeing it right along with everybody else. It will be fun to revisit it.
I know it involves a Santa-type story, and I always love those kinds of stories at Christmastime. I love how you can kind of become a kid again when you watch those sorts of stories.
Totally! It takes you back to being with family and going back to what is so wonderful about the month of December and Christmas. In fact, what I have learned is how starved people are for Christmas content. Every year, there are more and more and more Christmas movies. Lifetime is seeing what Hallmark is doing, and they’re emulating that. And Netflix is doing Christmas movies now too. So it’s not all that surprising to hear that there are so many of us who work on these projects–even multiple projects–’cause there’s such a rush to get through them and get them filmed ’cause people just gobble them up. You can never have enough Christmas.
You know, you’re so right. Just the other day, my mom was looking for something to watch. Hallmark didn’t have its new stuff on till later, and so she wanted there to be a Christmas movie she hadn’t seen yet. And she was looking everywhere for one to watch!
Isn’t that interesting?
So let’s talk about Jingle Around the Clock.
Yes, the Hallmark one we finished filming really not too long ago.
I finally got a hold of Jeremy Guilbaut, so I will be posting his interview soon too. And I just posted my interview with Brooke Nevin.
You know, I learned a lot from Brooke, since she was also the executive producer of this project. This is her baby. She and her boyfriend had been working on this one for a couple of years. It was really fun getting to work with her because she has the producer’s eye. We would be in a scene, and she would see things from the actor’s and producer’s perspective. I was really excited to work with her for that reason because that is something I would love to do in the future. Watching how this all happened and that she was so forthcoming about how all this happened with all the script changes and how it was to be attached to something like this and how long it takes…you know, there’s a big learning curve with this kind of thing. She was so fabulous, and we had such a fun time together. She is so bubbly and sweet, and the two of us had so much fun.
One of the things I’ve noticed is she is not as active as some on social media.
No, she’s not, but she wants to be. There were times on set when I would say, “Brooke, we’re surrounded by Christmas trees. Let’s do a story.” And she’d be like, “Oh, that’s something I need to learn how to do.” During the night shoots, the two of us were often playing around on Instagram. So it was good to see that she is trying to post more on social media. A total sweetheart, and I really hope this movie does well for her.
So what is the main premise of this movie?
You have two characters. Michael Cassidy is the other lead opposite Brooke. These two characters are from opposite sides of the tracks, so to speak. They’re both involved in a corporate atmosphere, and there’s a little push and pull happening over the course of the Christmas season. My character is a party planner, which is really fun because she’s in charge of making everything come to life. She lights up the Christmas trees and all that fun decorating stuff. My character gets involved with helping them with some projects. And of course, as you can imagine, the two main characters take an interest in one another. I actually play Michael Cassidy’s sister. He was really great. This was his first Hallmark project, and he’s a really wonderful guy. In addition to this push and pull in the corporate atmosphere, Jeremy and I have some fun moments, and he is not bad Railroad Ray in this movie, He is actually quite the opposite, which is really nice.
That’s good to know. After all, we know that he can handle other characters. The last time Hallmark audiences saw him was as the lead in Destination Wedding.
That’s right. He can do it all.
I know some fans are still struggling with Daniel Lissing not being a part of When Calls the Heart this season, but as we know, these things do happen. Actors do move on, and as hard as it can be, it’s the nature of the business. And then there are the characters like yours, Andrea. We all remember back during season two how the fans wanted Faith to go away. And now the fans couldn’t imagine Faith not being a part of the show. That has happened with so many characters. So I hope it will continue to go that way for you on the show, and that season six will be the best ever.
Thank you, I hope so too. I think in terms of the new year, there’s going to be some pretty cool things happening for me with Hallmark. It’s looking like I might get my own project.
Oh, I hope so! I know that is something the fans have been talking about for so long. “When is Andrea going to do a lead?” And I always respond saying that she’d love to do a lead. But I also know you’re looking beyond acting to producing, writing, and directing.
Definitely. I’d love to do it all one day in the future.
I think you told me about your aspirations with that during our first interview way back. And when I think of you, I always am aware of the fact that you know your stuff when it comes to film and film history.
Yeah, I try to. I had a very good conversation with Bill Abbott {Hallmark CEO} at a dinner recently. We were talking about Hallmark, and he said, “You’ve been with us for so many years. What are your thoughts?” I said, “Well, Bill, it really feels like we’re working in the old studio. It’s like we’re working for Paramount Pictures back in the day. We’re all a big family. We work with so many of the same, familiar faces, and we get to know each other so well. And what other network is really doing that to this degree? It just feels like we’re in old Hollywood.” And he was like, “That’s what I wanted to hear.” And that’s just so lovely. There are definitely some old Hollywood vibes in Hallmark, and I think that’s just so fun.
I loved Bill and Michelle {Vicary} before I met them, but now having met them, I can say they are exactly as wonderful as I believed them to be. Probably even more so.
I don’t know what other network has a CEO and vice president who will come out and meet fans. I don’t know of any others. They are really special, and they make everyone feel like they’re in the family. It’s from the top down.
Now, I can say this since I also work for another network, it can be a huge conglomerate over there, and I simply adore it. But they have a different way of doing things than Hallmark does. Not that it’s bad or negative. It’s just bigger and it’s different than working for Hallmark.
One of the things I love with Hallmark is that typically we are able to tweet and do Instagram videos behind-the-scenes. There are rules. You can’t give away spoilers, but for the most part, they really embrace the grassroots feel. If you’re an actor, they are happy for you to be there, and they want you to be posting ’cause the fans want to see it. Versus anything that happens on a bigger network, everything has to be approved. There are so many rules, and you have to be very careful. It’s a different way of doing things. I don’t think either one is wrong. But if someone is inclined to be on their social networks, I think you have more fun seeing all the behind-the-scenes stuff.
So is there anything else coming up that you want to be sure to mention?
You know, at this point, I’m just looking forward to having some time off. I will be sure to post where I am, but I think I’m going to Ontario to see some family. It’s been a busy year, and I’ve been also training and working out a ton. I think a complete pause this holiday season is going to be a bit shocking for my system, but I think it’s going to be really good.
I want to thank you for even sharing your wedding pictures with us. I know that everyone is different as far as what they do and don’t share. And while I’m sure some fans want you to share more, I believe you did what was right for you.
You know, he’s not in the business, and he’s a very private individual.
I believe you are both entitled to your privacy. In today’s culture, sometimes fans think they are entitled to know everything about everyone, especially someone in the public eye. The fact that you even shared anything about your wedding was a wonderful thing for you to do and certainly not required.
That’s really sweet of you to say. And the reason I ended up sharing is because certain photos got out there, and there were so many questions. So I put it out there, and there was a lot of negativity about it too. Like, “We didn’t know about this! You didn’t say anything!” Which was not what I expected. Sometimes I don’t know how I feel about all that. For the most part, everyone is so kind. I know I share a lot of my life, and because of that, people think they know everything about your life. So sometimes when you hold something back and don’t share, they take offense. A part of me understands that, and maybe at the end of the day, they’re just a really big fan. It is a tough thing to balance, and I don’t know if I’m doing it right or if anyone’s doing it right.
But I’ve talked to some very smart people in the business and have gotten some very good advice. We shouldn’t feel afraid to protect things if we want to. I have so many friends who don’t want to be tagged by me on social media because that’s not them and they don’t feel comfortable. I would never want to anger somebody over something as silly as Instagram or Twitter. It’s tough, and especially so when you’re not with someone who is also in the entertainment industry. We have decided to keep some things separate, and that is what works for us.
And I think that is very wise. Because after all, your husband is your priority, and you need to keep him in mind. Acting is your passion, and you’re used to being in the public eye. But you need to keep in mind what he feels comfortable with.
I agree with you completely, Ruth.
Well, Andrea, thank you so much for this awesome chat! I am looking forward to everything you’re in, and here’s to even more in 2019!
Ruth, thank you for your support and friendship over the years. And I hope everyone tunes in for When Calls the Heart on Christmas Day and for season six in February!
Andrea continues to impress me in every aspect of her life, and I believe this recent interview demonstrates exactly why. In truth, Andrea and I chatted for nearly two hours, and in that time, we were both candid, engaged, and gushing with exuberance. Andrea’s effervescence is readily apparent, and she is consistently willing to share a generous amount of herself with the fans. But unlike some of the typical actors in the business, Andrea genuinely cares about her fans. She is enthusiastic when informing the fans of pertinent details, but more importantly, she wants to uplift and encourage people through her phenomenal gifts. Her energy is boundless and infectious, and she is a lifelong learner in every situation. Moreover, in turn, she eagerly shares her knowledge in such a compassionate and gentle way that is never didactic nor condescending. In fact, what she mentioned about acting and my tiny experience actually made me feel better about my rather inadequate performance. To be honest, I seriously doubt anyone could come away from an interaction with Andrea feeling despondent or pessimistic. Andrea has a way of connecting with everyone in a pleasantly authentic way, and she seems to know exactly what to say to bolster the spirits of an individual who is struggling with their particular challenges or maybe even doubting themselves. Andrea may not even realize the incredible role model she has become for so many women both inside and outside of the business, and the fact that she remains humble and sincere is something that demonstrates that she is indeed the tremendous person that fans believe her to be.
If you are able to tune in for the premiere of When Calls the Heart: The Greatest Christmas Blessing on December 25th on the Hallmark Channel or Super Channel Heart & Home, I promise you will not be disappointed. Not only will Hearties be able to discover (at last) the gender of Elizabeth’s baby, but we will be able to witness the skillset of so many talented actors, not the least of which is Andrea as “Nurse Faith.” If you have not seen Jingle Around the Clock, please check the schedule for the Hallmark Channel (USA) or the W Network (Canada) for any additional showings that may be available before holiday programming comes to an end for the season. Lifetime will also be showing Santa’s Boots on Christmas Day (check the schedule for local times). It looks like Super Channel Heart & Home will also air it one last time early Christmas Day, so Canadian viewers may wish to look that up quickly! Additionally, I would invite everyone to follow Andrea at all the applicable links listed below. She is an absolute social media guru, and you will never miss ANYTHING if you follow her closely. As it looks like Andrea may finally be getting her own project in 2019, I am already celebrating profusely! This woman has labored intensively over her time with Hallmark, and to witness the success she is enjoying thrills me to my very core! If there is one woman whom I believe is deserving of all her hopes and dreams coming true in the new year, it’s Andrea, and I believe that all of the Hearties are going to race to support her as well!
