Overview

The Christian Capitalist by Rich Sanders is an enlightening exploration of the scriptural foundations that underlie two core Christian principles: hard work and generosity. Sanders intricately examines various biblical passages, articulating a philosophy that marries Christian faith with capitalist values. This book emphasizes the importance of productivity and sharing one’s blessings with others, reflecting on two thousand years of Christian history and the good works of believers. Ultimately, it presents the Gospel of Hard Work and Generous Giving as a uniquely Christian approach to life.

Endorsement

Elizabeth Cranston, Esq., CEO of Cana, LLC, shares, “As a small business owner, my husband and I have experienced both success and challenges. The Christian Capitalist reminded me that going to church isn’t the only way to worship God. By working hard and giving to others, I share the blessings God has given to me and my family with others.”

My Personal Review

Honestly, I was profoundly moved by “The Christian Capitalist.” As someone who has always believed in capitalism, I was curious about this book and expected it to focus primarily on economic principles with a touch of Christian references. However, what I found was a deeply devotional and scripturally rich study guide.

Rich Sanders masterfully intertwines a Christian worldview with biblical references, creating a resource that is both enlightening and spiritually enriching. This book is not meant to be read in one sitting; it’s a comprehensive study that invites you to reflect and digest its teachings deeply. The appendices are especially valuable, providing quick access to key concepts and passages that resonate with the reader.

The insights on balancing hard work with generous giving are profound, offering practical and spiritual guidance for living a life that honors God through both productivity and generosity. I plan to use this book as a Bible study guide to fully absorb and apply its wisdom in my daily life.
