My Personal Review
As a long-time fan of the original animated version, experiencing The Prince of Egypt: The Musical was a dream come true. The live-action recording in London, complete with new songs and an expanded story, exceeded my expectations. While there were some deviations from the original Exodus tale, the emphasis on the strength of women and the unique perspective humanized the characters for me. It’s a fantastic family movie that might inspire a thoughtful discussion by comparing it with the Biblical story. I loved every moment of it and have already shared the joy with my daughter, who loved it too!
