Sun Moon is a touching story about Kelsey, who moves to Taiwan to teach English in an attempt to understand God’s purpose for her life. Through her relationship with a young girl named Sun Moon, Kelsey discovers a new sense of purpose and joy. The story is a beautiful reminder that sometimes, the best things in life come from unexpected places, and that God works through all the circumstances in our lives, even the difficult ones.

The story is also about all kinds of love and the power of relationships to draw us closer to God. It portrays the different forms of love, including romantic love, friendship, and the love between a mentor and student. The relationships in the story are not perfect, but they are real and authentic, which makes them all the more powerful. Sun Moon is a beautiful and inspiring story that will leave you feeling uplifted and reminded of the power of love and faith.

My Thoughts:

As I was watching Sun Moon, my heart was immediately captured by the captivating scene of Kelsey in her wedding dress in a bathtub. As a former teacher, I was instantly drawn to Kelsey’s character and could relate to her on a personal level. I was delighted to see Taiwan’s rich and vibrant culture featured in this faith-based film, which truly warmed my heart.

The movie exceeded my expectations with its strong acting and engaging storyline. I found myself rooting for the characters, feeling their emotions, and connecting with them on a deep level. The rendition of “O Holy Night” was particularly moving and touching.  And the dramatization of the story of Ruth…dynamic and fun! The film does an incredible job of showcasing the beauty of Taiwanese culture and the character of Sun Moon is a joy to watch.

Overall, “Sun Moon” is a heartwarming and uplifting movie that I highly recommend to anyone looking for a wholesome family film with a motivational message based on the Christian faith. It will leave you feeling inspired, encouraged, and with a renewed sense of hope.
