A hole that is six-inches in diameter is located one foot from the sides of the board and 9-inches from the top of the board.
Although there are plastic cornhole boards, wood is preferred. The bags will bounce better on a wood surface and when painted, they get just the right amount of slide. Boards can be found in just about any design. They are even available in plain wood so you can decorate them to your own liking.
