In this day and age, watches are almost a thing of the past. However, there are definite times when wearing a classy watch is still something that is looked upon as fashionable and prestigious. I would like to introduce you to a company with whom I’ve had the pleasure of working–Wood Watches by JORD.

Based in St. Louis Missouri, JORD launched their wood watch line in the Fall of 2013. While natural, raw, and sustainable material are quickly becoming popular, JORD saw the possible need and desire in the wood watch market, as design and ingenuity was lacking. As they have worked to create their product line, they do not see watches just as keepers of time. They want these watches to reflect the personality of the wearer.
The full line of wood watches has ladies, men’s, and unisex options featuring both quartz and automatic movements. The cost of their wood watches are $350.00 which means they are more affordable than many quality watches, and the style and workmanship are not sacrificed.

And there is the watch I was sent for review. I chose the Sully Cherry Wood Watch.  I am the first to admit that watches are something I don’t wear much any more. But this one is absolutely gorgeous! And I had never heard of a wood watch before. Quite an innovative idea. While this is not something I would typically wear, this one won me over. And I can hardly wait to give one away as a gift.  This is the perfect item for an evening out when you don’t want to pull your cellphone out every moment and check it. After all, for us ladies, we don’t have pockets when we are all dressed up.

The company was patient, understanding, and very willing to answer any questions I may have had. I would highly recommend this company when you are looking for that perfect fashion accessory for the person on your list who values something a bit different.
