GOOD WITCH SEASON 1 – “Good Witch” will take viewers on a new magical journey with Cassie Nightingale (Bell) and her bright, young-teenage daughter Grace (Madison), who shares her mom’s special intuitive charm. When Sam, a doctor (Denton), and his teenage son move in next door to Grey House, they are immediately charmed by the “magical” mother-daughter duo and wonder is it really magic, a lucky coincidence or just a special intuitive insight only this family possesses? Based on one of the network’s most successful Original Movie franchise of all time, “Good Witch” will inspire with each intriguing episode and will have viewers immediately charmed by the quaint town of Middleton – which is in store for new changes, big surprises, and, of course, a little bit of magic!
If you have not heard the “buzz,” the Hallmark channel is premiering a new television series based on the highly successful movie franchise The Good Witch. I’ll be honest–I have never seen any of these movies (I don’t know where I have been but I haven’t), and when I first heard about this series, I was somewhat ambivalent. I know I grew up watching reruns of Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie, not to mention all the Disney films I saw featuring magic. But now that I am a mature adult, why would I want to watch a series that featured magic as one of the focal points? I knew of Catherine Bell and Bailey Madison, but what would cause me to watch this series?
Well, I’ll be honest. This promo spot first caught my attention. There was certainly something simply enchanting about it. Science fiction has become my new interest, so why not fantasy? Why not magic? Why not take a journey?
Well, I have decided to give it a try. So when it premieres this Saturday, I’ll be there live tweeting with everyone. What about you? I hope you’ll join us all. Oh, and by the way, I will be reviewing this series, and I am certain I’ll be writing a glowing review next week!
