I don’t usually have video to accompany a history story but I do today. On this date in 2005, a landslide happened at La Conchita, California.  This mudslide killed ten people and destroyed or damaged 36 homes.  This was almost a sort of repeat event as ten years earlier there had been a similar event in the same area.

Daniel 4:35 ESV

All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, “What have you done?”

I like the verse to accompany the article. Although I have never experienced a natural disaster, my husband has, surviving the 1974 Xenia OH tornado.

Oh Katherine I’m glad you appreciate the verse. I haven’t really been through a natural disaster either. Goodness. I can’t imagine.

I was out in that area when this mudslide took place. It was horrible. The Bible verse you chose is very appropriate at says a lot.

Oh Debra that had to be horrible. Let’s hope this kind of thing doesn’t happen again.
