The Three Kitties That Saved My LifeThe Three Kitties That Saved My Life by Michael Meyer

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Until I began reading this book and noticed the author’s name, I did not make the connection that I had read this one of this author’s mystery books. I had never forgotten that mystery book because it was so different from anything I had read. However, this was completely different from any of his mystery books, and I was anxious to see how it would compare.

From the first page of this memoir to the last, I was absolutely mesmerized by this story. I am already a cat lover, but the way in which the author told this story and related it to grief and love truly made an impact on me. I have absolutely no criticism of the book–except I wouldn’t have minded it being even longer. I sincerely hope that this author writes more in this genre as I believe he was definitely at his best. It was well-written and heartfelt. Indeed one of the best memoirs I have ever read.

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.
