As I have mentioned in the past, I am a member of Crown Media Press, and I have decided to start a weekly segment on my blog for informing my readers about upcoming events on the Hallmark Channel. I have come to absolutely adore this network, and it is a privilege to work with this amazing network to promote quality television.
First of all, this was a special week for those of us who love Christmas. Starting October 31, the popular “Countdown to Christmas” begins (I can hardly wait), and this was the week for Hallmark to announce the “12 New Movies of Christmas.” Hallmark announced the following line-up (Not my comments in italics):
The Christmas Clock ticks to the first of the 12 New Movies of Christmas beginning with “One Starry Christmas,” starring Sarah Carter and George Canyon, a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere on Saturday, November 1 (8 p.m. ET/PT, 7C);
“The Nine Lives of Christmas,” starring Brandon Routh and Gregory Harrison, a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere, Saturday, November 8 (8 p.m. ET/PT, 7C);
“A Cookie Cutter Christmas,” starring Erin Krakow and Alan Thicke, a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere, Sunday, November 9 (8 p.m. ET/PT, 7C); (This is especially exciting for those of us who love Erin Krakow in “When Calls the Heart.”)
“Northpole,” starring Tiffani Thiessen, Josh Hopkins, Bailee Madison, Max Charles, ‘American Idol’ winner Candice Glover, Robert Wagner and Jill St. John, a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere, Saturday, November 15 (8 p.m. ET/PT, 7C); (I voted for Candice Glover!)

Are you excited yet? Well, let me tell you one more thing not to be missed. What are you doing Saturday evening? Whatever you are doing, set it aside, drop everything and watch Cedar Cove. This show is currently in its second season with only four more episodes to go. It is based on Debbie Macomber’s series, and I live tweet with the cast every week.
Here’s a teaser photo of my favorite couple on the show:
I can imagine what some of you are thinking. Have you lost your mind? Why are you promoting Hallmark so much? Frankly, I am tired of the garbage on most channels. I am sick of being bombarded with sex, profanity, and violence. When I go to the Hallmark channel, I am met with family friendly entertainment that is safe for the entire family to watch. And by the way. The guy in the picture on the right–Sebastian Spence–he is my current favorite actor. Don’t even get me started! The actress, Teryl Rothery, is lucky to play opposite him.
Oh, and let me share what I won!
This is a signed script, and I won it by live tweeting with the cast! I was so excited when it came in. Curious about who the signatures are? I’ll let you figure it out!
Okay, as I now recover from that, I am going to link you to the Hallmark channel and their social media links. You want to check out this channel. It is not to be missed. And hey, maybe I’ll see you Saturday night. Join us for the live tweet!
