Okay, I’m not a Twilight fan.  I don’t plan to read the book, watch the movie, or anything like that.  I first heard Christina Perri’s song  “A Thousand Years” on the radio, and I did not know the origin.  I still like the song.  On this date in 1986, Christina Perri was born.  Her first single “Jar of Hearts” was featured on So You Think You Can Dance back in 2010.  I have to admit I don’t remember that although I’m sure I was watching since I’m a fan of that show.  The song I featured here was certified 4x platinum, and of course, it is featured in the Twilight saga in 2012.  I’ll never forget what my friends said when I moved back to Washington state.  “You’re moving to Twilight country.”  I had no idea up to that point that the book took place in Forks.  My response was, “But there’s nothing there.”  I guess that’s the point.  And now Forks is popular with tourists.  But that is beside the point.  Happy 28th birthday to Christina Perri!
