Super Swizz

The SuperSwizz Spiral Slicer: Stainless Steel Vegetable Spiralizer is a fantastic product that provides for a need I didn’t even know I had!  This top quality spiralizer has a bonus brush and two Julienne sizes.  It is ideal for doing fancy slicing of hard vegetables, such as carrots, zucchini, and more. It is also dishwasher safe–always a big plus in this house.

super swizzThis product was designed to make vegetables into pasta but slicing them very thinly.  You can make veggie spaghetti, stir fry, and even curly vegetable garnishes.  I will be honest–I never used it for vegetable pasta, but I might this summer.  It sounds awfully good.

When I first started using this product, I realized that it would take a little getting used to.  Yes, it is easy to use, but if you have arthritis, you may think twice before using it.  It does require a firm hold (the handle is very sturdy), and my hands did get tired of doing it after a while.  However, the results were amazing!

As you can see, the result was quite nice.  We love carrots on salad, but we prefer them cut very thinly.  I can’t do that with a regular knife, but I surely can with this gadget!  I am so glad the cleaning brush was there to help after I was done using this, and it cleaned up fairly well!  I certainly plan to continue using this in the future.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
