I am so pleased to be a part of this fantastic giveaway hop, and this one is going to be a little different.  In the spirit of April Fool’s Day, we are going to celebrate only fun books.  I am not saying there cannot be something serious about the book, but let us stay away from depressing and dark stories.  I read Debbie Macomber’s Wyoming Brides, and it was nice and light.  Or consider Playing the Maestro by Aubrie Dionne–what a fun romance!  One international entrant will win a lighter book of choice that is $12 or under.  Just to clarify, when I say “lighter” book, I mean one with humor, clean romances, children’s books–anything that does not leave you depressed at the end nor deal with a depressing topic!  I plan to add a fun surprise as well.  Please enter by April 7 at 9 P.M. Pacific time.  Don’t forget to hop on to the other blogs for more chances to win!

The Rosie Project was a fun book. It was sort of like a cross between The Big Bang Theory and those rom-com movies that are everybody’s secret guilty pleasure

Haven’t read many funny books. But my sis has I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell by Tucker Max, and they say that’s hilarious 🙂

I just read Snicker of Magic. It’s a MG book and it is absolutely beautiful. Quite frankly, it’s the best book I’ve read all year. The Junction of Sunshine and Lucky (also MG) is another lovely book, though it is not quite as lighthearted. Both have serious messages, but are so beautifully written, they touch the heart and soul.

I was thinking about fun books, with no drama in them, that I’ve read and I just realised that most of the books I’ve read lately have some kind of tragedy in them! I loved The Universe Versus Alex Woods which is funny but also sad at times. I’m starting to think I don’t like books that don’t have some tragic event in them…
Thank you for the giveaway! 🙂
