midwinterWelcome to the Midwinter’s Eve Giveaway Hop!  This is hosted by Bookhounds and I Am a Reader.  We had  our own taste of winter in the Pacific Northwest when we had a bit of snow and a 2-hour late start at school today.  And we all went to see Frozen today.  So, I am definitely in the winter mode. In honor of the start of winter, I am giving away a book of your choice up to $15.  This giveaway is open worldwide as long as Book Depository, Fishpond, and/or amazon ships to you.  Once you enter the rafflecopter below, please hop on for even more giveaways!  This giveaway will end 9 P.M.  Pacific time on December 31.

Every winter I take my vacation time and stay home! I bundle up with cozy jammies and fuzzy blanket and read “Gone With The Wind”! My favorite time of the year!

I don’t care that much for winter- I hate being cold. I’d rather be too hot than too cold. For me, winter is just an excuse to curl up with a fluffy blanket, a cup of coffee, and a good book or favorite movie.

Winter is my second favorite season (after fall) because that means I get to wear sweaters and finally enjoy things like drinking hot chocolate, reading a lot over winter break and of course, the holidays. 🙂

My favorite thing about winter is how the hills around our home look in the evening after a snow. All the lights in the houses blink and twinkle, and I feel like I live in the middle of a painting. 🙂
