midwinterWelcome to the Midwinter’s Eve Giveaway Hop!  This is hosted by Bookhounds and I Am a Reader.  We had  our own taste of winter in the Pacific Northwest when we had a bit of snow and a 2-hour late start at school today.  And we all went to see Frozen today.  So, I am definitely in the winter mode. In honor of the start of winter, I am giving away a book of your choice up to $15.  This giveaway is open worldwide as long as Book Depository, Fishpond, and/or amazon ships to you.  Once you enter the rafflecopter below, please hop on for even more giveaways!  This giveaway will end 9 P.M.  Pacific time on December 31.

My favorite things about winter are Christmas and New years Eve. How pretty snow looks. Going snowsledding. Cuddling in blankets with my soulmate/bff love of my life husband Todd and our cat and cockatiel.

There’s no snow where I am, but we do have somewhat of a cold weather during December, so it’s the time where I always make it a point to drink hot choco in the morning.

I always read Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares and watch Love Actually with my sister. These things have become sort of a tradition for the last couple of years.

I love hot chocolate and snow. I’m in the south, so we only get snow once or twice a year and every time, I feel like skipping work and playing outside all day like a kid.

Wow winter in Oklahoma is different one day we are in 70’s and the next day in the teens, just got over a wonderful ice storm whish is pretty to look at as long as power stays on and you don’t have to go anywhere, but I love Oklahoma and would not trade places. Ice and snow days are great days to curl up with a good book and snuggle under the covers.. LOL
