midwinterWelcome to the Midwinter’s Eve Giveaway Hop!  This is hosted by Bookhounds and I Am a Reader.  We had  our own taste of winter in the Pacific Northwest when we had a bit of snow and a 2-hour late start at school today.  And we all went to see Frozen today.  So, I am definitely in the winter mode. In honor of the start of winter, I am giving away a book of your choice up to $15.  This giveaway is open worldwide as long as Book Depository, Fishpond, and/or amazon ships to you.  Once you enter the rafflecopter below, please hop on for even more giveaways!  This giveaway will end 9 P.M.  Pacific time on December 31.

It is the middle of summer here where I live and I am wishing for winter to come. I prefer layering up and cozing in front of the fire with rain beating at the windows. Come on winter, we miss you!

It’s not winter where I live at the moment. But when it is, one of my favorite things to do is curl up next to the heater with a cup of hot chocolate, and a massive book something like Game of Thrones 🙂

What I like best about winter is making brownies and hot chocolate and snuggling up to watch a
    great Christmas movie.

Winter is a time for reading fantasy novels. I first read Harry Potter on Christmas day, and of course Lord of the Rings are a winter thing, since the movies came out. All the best things happen in winter.
