Funbites Review

For many years, I have read reviews about Funbites, and I actually figured that my daughter would be too old to appreciate these.  And after all, I would have no use for them, right?  So why would I want to review these?  Because I always wanted to, and all they asked was my honest opinion.  How could I go wrong?

FunbitesFunbites was the brainchild of a mother with a child who was a picky eater.  She said that they spent so much time cutting food into shapes that they decided to remedy this situation.  And Funbites were born.  They come in hearts, squares, and triangles.  I reviewed the hearts, and I couldn’t be happier.  Let me tell you–these are not just for kids.  They are fun for adults, too.

I was glad that the special molds came with detailed instructions, but it really is common sense when it comes to using these.  They are safe–you and your kids would struggle to cut a finger or hand on the mold.  Think cookie cutters with a twist, and you will be right on point.

Funbites cheeseI decided to use some provolone cheese.  I knew my daughter wanted a snack, and I wanted to see what she thought about these funbites.

funbites afterI should have used a different color plate, but this was the result of my Funbites experiment.  You can see hearts and triangles, and my daughter said, “That’s really cool!”  She enjoyed eating the cheese for her late-night snack.  And now that I see how easy these are, I can see all sorts of possibilities.  I would use these for entertaining, and my mom thought that even marzipan might work.

So be sure to check out the product and follow them on facebook, twitter, and youtube for the latest news and deals.  I could definitely see the benefits of this product, and I would venture to say that the success of these cutters even amazes the creator!

As a member of Outburst Media, I received this product from Funbites in hopes of obtaining a review. All opinions are my own.
