My rating: 5 of 5 stars

There is nothing like a good mystery, and when you add a bit of romance and a Christian message, I don’t think it gets better! This book had me hooked from beginning to end, and just when you thought everything was fine, the action heated up right at the end.

I honestly cannot think of anything negative about this book. It is the first in the series, and this was the first book I had ever read by Anne Patrick. There is absolutely nothing objectionable–completely clean in every area. And the Christian theme shines through in a non-preachy sort of way. Korey and Sean are the perfect couple, and the story never lagged or slowed down.

I want to take a moment and thank the author for honoring the military in this book. There is a growing perception in this country that the military is not to be treated with respect, and one can often find this sentiment even within the Christian community. I am so glad that the author dedicates this book to our illustrious armed forces personnel. It makes no difference what you believe about the conflicts in which the U.S. is involved. Our military deserves respect and support no matter what.

This is a fast read that will appeal to a wide variety of readers, and I believe it is well worth the reader’s time.

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I was not financially compensated, and all opinions are 100 percent mine.

Wow, this book must be a special one if you can’t even find anything negative about it, Ruth 🙂
Think I’m going to look for the blurb.
