On this date in 1975, Wheel of Fortune debuted on NBC. The last time it aired on this network was on June 30, 1989.  It was a daytime series at this point. Of course, the history of this popular game show continues today.

    What an fun fact! This brings back a lot of memories. I remember watching it all the time when I was little and my family shouting the answers out, trying to guess the phrase.

    I had no idea that Wheel of Fortune has been around that long! I’ve always enjoyed the show, and the Hosts have worn well!!

    It was the year I was born 🙂
    My Grandma used to watch this show everyday…. I remember when I was very little.
    She always solved the puzzles right away. Great game show!

    I can’t believe Wheel of Fortune has been around so long….that show is a classic and a staple in my Grandparents household. They watch it almost every day! I love solving the puzzles too 🙂 It’s always nice to watch people win some money!!
