Library Industry Outlook

In this age where technology is valued so highly, one might think that libraries are obsolete. Nothing could be further from the truth. The role of libraries is to provide access to resources and information, but traditional books are not the driving force any more. As the digital revolution continues to expand, libraries need to evolve. In addition to this, being a librarian does not mean what it once did. It behooves those who seek to enter this ever-changing profession to educate themselves concerning all their options so they will be adequately prepared to compete for the top jobs.
