You may have noticed the absence of my “This Day in History” posts. Well, I did not wish to discontinue them, but they needed a little bit of revamping. So please check out the new posts from now on!

1 Corinthians 3:11For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

It was on this date in 1792, that cornerstone was laid for the White House.  It was not until 1800, that the President John Adams became the first president to live in this White House.  Washington D.C. became the place that replaced Philadelphia as the nation’s capital.

Too bad that Washington DC is really turning from 1 Corinthians 3:11 – For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. If they would stay focused upon this the country would be in much better shape. I believe this with all my heart, I truly do!
