So he hurt youAbout The Book

So He Hurt You, Now What? – Messages of Hope for a Hurting Sister is a series of short messages to encourage, uplift and inspire you. Think of a daily message you would send a friend that’s at a very low place in their life. Her husband or boyfriend just left her or she just found out of his betrayal. She’s in shock and kinda frozen….unable to move forward.
We need a voice in our ear that says… Hey Girl – You are going to make it… You are NOT alone… Let me help you get out of this pit you are currently in because you can’t stay there.

In the midst of our storm or “pity party” we need someone that’s not gonna play with us. Somebody that has no other motive but to see us be happy.

That is what you’ll get from – So He Hurt You, Now What?  –  Messages of Hope for a Hurting Sister

Five Ways to Find Inspiration (Guest Post by the Author)

Inspiration is a choice. We choose to be inspired or choose to be defeated. I choose to be inspired each and every day.

Below are five ways I find inspiration.

  1. The word of God inspires me. There are over 8,000 promises in the word of God. If I can grab hold to just a small fraction of those promises I know there is hope for me. Despite what life may look like or what just happened, the word of God tells me that I can do all things.
  2. My family inspires me. My children and husband make me laugh on a daily basis. They inspire me to do good and do better.
  3. A strong, dedicated prayer life dictates inspiration for me. I start each day out with prayer and pray all throughout the day.
  4. Encouraging others inspire me. I was created to be a helper to others.  I stand on the scripture that says what you make happen for others, God will make happen for you.
  5. I find inspiration in the testimony of others. When people share their victorious testimonies with me, I am inspired. I think, “If God did it for them, he will do it for me too!”
