DecalsThere is nothing better than vinyl to do a quick decorating fix to your house.  The variety of vinyl decals has so greatly expanded, and I am so happy to get to review some from this wonderful company in exchange for my honest opinion.  Be sure to enter to win a $25 gift certificate from the store here.

Beautiful Wall Decals is a fantastic company that provides endless vinyl designs to make your walls look beautiful.  They use only the very highest quality vinyl available on the market. Since their decals are cut rather than printed, they actually look painted on your wall with no clear backing.

They ship free everywhere in the United States with no minimum order, and they include a free decal in every order to practice with (this is something I didn’t know until I came to do the review–now I know why there were extra decals).

They stand behind their designs, and if there is some problem, they will fix it.

My daughter and I have a bathroom that used to be Western in design, but she decided it was time for a change.  We have an ocean theme, and so I decided to go with some kind of “fishing” decal.  Imagine my surprise and delight when I saw this:

Bathroom DeclasWe removed our Western clock, and the fish clock was obtained elsewhere.  But focus on the vinyl lettering.  It says “Follow Me, and I will Make your Fishers of men.”  What a wonderful sentiment to have in our “ocean-themed” bathroom!  You can find this decal here.

So you might wonder about the process of putting this up.  I followed the instructions, and I flattened the design.  It was all rolled up when it was shipped out.  It was not as necessary with these letters, but I did it anyway.

I then tried to figure out where to place this in the bathroom.  Removing these letters from the backing was really tough.  That’s right–it was not fun!  Don’t get me wrong–it was fairly simple, but it was maddening.  The little vinyl letter kept sticking together, and a few tore.  I also separated the design a bit more than the design was intended.  I thought it looked better on our walls.  I did nothing special to treat the letters.  And I couldn’t be more pleased!

So far, even with the humid bathroom, the letters have remained up.  They have been solid on our walls for about a week, and my daughter’s complaint concerns the fishing pole that is somewhat separated.  I’m really not bothered, and I think in time I may find another decal to fill in the spots.  I recommend this company highly.  I picked out the design, the size, and the color.  Pretty good, if you ask me!
